"A multi-solution Approach to Student Engagement"

Workshop Description:

This workshop looks at Student Engagement in a way that allows teachers to utilize the multiple technology solutions within their classroom. In this workshop, we will dive deeper into integrating Google Workspace, Google Earth, Canvas, and the Interactive Flat Panel to create a more interactive and engaging learning experience for our students. Teachers will learn practices for integrating these elements along with how they can be tied into more robust best practices for PBL and blended learning approaches.

In CCSD, those in non-administrative licensed positions may count this workshop for license renewal AND ALSO CU accrual - THOSE IN NON-ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS EARN BOTH!

(unlimited CUs in this category for those in non-administrative positions)

In CCSD, administrators and professional-technical administrators may count this workshop for license renewal OR hour accrual toward step-advancement - not both for administrators.

(maximum of 30 hours per advancement cycle for administrators in this category)!

Jason Neuman, M.Ed

Lead Digital Learning Specialist

Jason brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from K-12 education. His experience includes 16.5 years as an educator in all levels of K-12 public education in the states of Georgia and Florida. Jason’s previous professional experience also included serving as a director of a school-aged programs for a YMCA.

Throughout his professional experience he has trained/facilitated over 1800 training sessions and worked with over 4,000 educators. Jason enjoys working with fellow educators and school administrators collaboratively to create resources and provide effective instructional strategies that can be implemented in the classroom.

Brittany Peterson, M.Ed.

Digital Learning Specialist

Brittany began her career in education as a 2012 Teacher for America Corps Member and now brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the EdTech world. As an educator, she proudly served 10+ years in Metro Atlanta which deepened her passions for learning and instructional technology.

Her background includes a unique combination of educational psychology, secondary mathematics, and a keen interest in how instructional technology impacts student learning. In her current role, she works closely with classroom teachers, principals and district administrators to achieve best practice in integrating technology purposefully into teaching and learning.
