Workshop Description

Toughness. Resilience. Grit. Confidence. Focus. These terms are constantly thrown at students and adults alike. Many experts even say that high-level performance is up to 90% mental. Unfortunately, a roadmap for development in these areas is seldom shared. In this full-day workshop, you will begin your journey into mental performance training. Topics will include the basics of mental training, multiple strategies you can implement in your personal and professional life, and ways to impact those around you - especially students; hence, increasing achievement results!

Course Objectives:

Become familiar with mental training and performance psychology

Participate in self-assessment of mental toughness and learn how to assess others

Experience researched-based strategies in the following categories:

  • Goal-Setting
  • Self-Talk
  • Mindfulness
  • Emotional Awareness
  • Focus
  • Visualization
  • Confidence
  • Mental Toughness
