WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
We will discuss the most effective ways for all staff members to recruit and train your future coworkers, including, custodians, nutrition staff, bus drivers, administrative assistants, paraeducators, teachers, counselors, and administrators. Participants will understand the top recruiting and training methods, including, transfer fairs, hosting college/university internship students, positive word of mouth from current staff, and inviting and developing alumnus so they will return as valuable staff members.
We will understand the main benefits of hiring alumnus, including that they know the vision and mission of the school, the expectations for the students and staff, the instructional staff, and the support staff, they have school pride and will continue to recruit for our school and that we know them, their personalities, their strengths, their weaknesses, their parents, their families, etc. All staff will recognize they have a major role in eliminating vacancies by training and utilizing former students to work side by side on your faculty.
We will recognize that all aspects of every staff member‘s daily duties are simplified, maximized and more enjoyable when we all have a voice in the development of our staff, camps, and student success. We will develop basic recruiting steps to implement the process of filling all campus vacancies with qualified alumnus. This includes the development of making sure our students experience unforgettable moments and lasting relationships, promoting the invitation to return, and become part of the school staff, and providing on-site learning opportunities.
All participants will be provided with various topics, engage in learning discussion rooms, and obtain information for improving their strategies, decision making abilities, relationship building, and positive behavior to create unforgettable moments, while raising staff effectiveness, closing achievement gaps, and raising student achievement.
