Workshop Description
This engaging workshop will give you tools to navigate through change with more energy, ease and peace of mind. You’ll learn how to gain a sense of empowerment and control during change. You’ll also learn to identify predictable patterns of behavior during change so you can communicate more effectively during conflict and difficult transitions.

Marianne Renner is a popular keynote speaker and leadership trainer who helps high-performing leaders identify and eliminate self-imposed barriers to success.
Through her speaking and training, she has inspired thousands of leaders to move from chaos to clarity and become the great leaders they were meant to be. has been described as dynamic, engaging, thought-provoking and inspiring. Her meaningful messages move leaders toward practical steps that help them get real results.
Her effective techniques for problem-solving, together with her insights to personal behaviors, have made her highly impactful in helping audiences become more effective communicators and resolve conflict at work.
Marianne holds a Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications, and has served as a Lean continuous improvement practitioner, helping teams solve complex problems and drive organizational improvement.
She serves as a board member for True Eagle Beauty girls empowerment program, and sits on the Chairman’s Advisory Panel for CASA Kane County, a nationwide program for abused and neglected children. Most recently, Marianne served as chair-person for the Quad County Urban League Women’s Empower Summit.

Learn the 4 dominant behavior styles known by the acronym DISC. Learn to identify your style and the styles of those around you so you can adapt and communicate more effectively.

Conflict
We’re all on a personal journey through change, and no two people respond exactly the same. This can create conflict. Learn strategies to communicate through conflict, navigate difficult conversations, recognize and reduce defensive behavior.
Paradigms, Positivity and Problem-solving
Learn about the science of positivity and how it impacts your ability to navigate through change. Learn techniques to elevate your happiness, increase creativity and improve your problem- solving abilities.
