Workshop Description:
Excessive and prolonged stress can lead to burnout and impact us in the body, mind, spirit and relationships. This workshop provides 5 strategies to create more energy and less stress to equip and empower you to take control of your life, your classroom and/or your school or position and be the best for the students you serve.
With almost half of K-12 teachers feeling burned out at work (Gallup 2022), schools are filled with a depleted faculty and experiencing costly absenteeism and turnover. This workshop equips and empowers teachers and administrators with strategies to create more energy and less stress by taking back control of life so you can go from surviving to thriving personally and professionally and be your best for the students you serve. You will learn focusing skills; therefore, be equipped to better concentrate on steps to ensure student achievement and/or supporting teachers in yourself in the classroom to optimize your skills. Restored energy shows up in your students and their outcomes as well as the skills you learn are transferrable to students!
You'll Learn:
The most common misconceptions that can get you stuck in a stress cycle. Risk factors and warning signs so you can respond proactively. Proven strategies you can implement immediately even if nothing else changes.
Building blocks for sustainable success for all initiatives.
Most importantly, all of these skills that you will personally learn are transferrable to students so that they to optimize school-work balance, completion of their homework, readings and projects and optimize their learning!
