Workshop Description:

Grounded in the research of Dr. Brené Brown, this experiential learning opportunity is designed to allow for deep learning and ample time to connect with the material, practice, self-reflect, and interact with fellow learners in a brave, virtual space. This experience will help you tap into your values and inner wisdom, and grow in courage and confidence as a leader - and as a person. There will be activities designed to support integration and

maximize our time together.

Key Takeaways & Outcomes:

As all educators work to close the constantly shifting challenges of student achievement gaps while guaranteeing elevated academic standards, workshop participants will be able to explore ways in which all PreK-12 staff can cultivate an environment fostering trust, collaboration, and innovation, benefiting both their educational institutions and

teams. Participants will walk away with a new understanding of the connection between overwhelm, trauma, anxiety, and uncertainty in relation to behaviors, engagement, and overall well-being in order to better support each other as well as students.

Key Objectives:

Participants will explore how leaders can create a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation that benefits both their school organizations and their teams. Participants will identify Core Values and individual Call to Courage to support the challenging landscape of working in a school system.

Participants will understand the intersection of overwhelm, trauma, anxiety and uncertainty as it relates to behaviors, engagement and thriving. Participants will reflect on areas of opportunity to create a sense of inclusion and belonging.
