Workshop Description:
We have all heard the saying "Once we learn to ride a bike, we never forget." Riding a bike is a complex task yet we can get our kids to master it before they even enter school, and they will never forget.
When we focus on the focus and identify what really matters, lasting learning is possible.
In this session, we will use the bike-riding metaphor to explore a seven-step process that allows student learning to last, just like riding a bike.
- Learners will gain insight into creating clearly aligned goals and outcomes.
- Learners will gain insight into how to accurately measure progress.
- Learners will gain exposure to strategies to increase student engagement in learning.
