Workshop Description:

"Math in Motion" kicks off with a lively keynote that's all about showing teachers the cool stuff kids can do when they really get math. It's not just about the numbers; it's about making it click in their heads. The session will dive into some fresh, fun ways to help every student nail the tricky bits of math. Plus, there's going to be some straight talk on how to spot the math whizzes and get them zipping along at warp speed with an awesome math program. And it's not just talk – you'll get to see how these math skills can play out in the real world with some hands-on, totally relatable examples. Expect lots of chances to jump in and try things out because sitting still isn't how we roll in this session.

You will be accessing present supplementary resources and activities to enrich the overall math learning experience while making cross curricular connections as math truly is everywhere. By arming teachers with tools to enable students to apply mathematical concepts in practical situations, you will finally be able to answer the question of “When will I ever use this again?”
