ORGANIZING YOUR WAY TO A PRODUCTIVE SCHOOL CLIMATE

One workshop over 3 days from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM on:

Tuesday October 3

Wednesday October 4

Thursday October 5

30 minute lunch break

$22 for Support Staff

$42 for NASA Members

$62 for Non-NASA Members

ALL are welcome, including anyone in a non-administrative position!

Participants will earn .5 credit (7.5 hours) toward license renewal!

This workshop ALSO counts for step advancement in Clark and most Nevada School Districts!

In CCSD, those in non-administrative licensed positions may count this workshop for license renewal AND ALSO 2.5 CUs - THOSE IN NON-ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS EARN BOTH!

(unlimited CUs in this category for those in non-administrative positions)

In CCSD, administrators and professional-technical administrators may count this workshop for license renewal OR 2.5 hours toward step-advancement - not both for administrators.

(maximum of 30 hours per advancement cycle for administrators in this category)!

Washoe County participants will be required to also register for this course in "MyPGS" in order to receive in-service credit toward salary advancement.

Linda West

Linda West (formerly Linda Jones) has a powerful tool and that is her voice. She works at CCEA, as an advocate for educators working in the largest public school district in the state of Nevada.  From conducting training, presenting presentations, public speaking at events, to one-on-one discussions, her honesty welcomes you to share without feeling judgment. By far she does not convey that “Yes Friend” because she is willing to explore your thought process while challenging your thoughts and understandings in a non-confrontational manner. She has a multitude of experiences making it easy for her to relate to everyone. Her bravery and strength are never exhausted as you can hear from all that she shares with us - Life is the journey. The destination is there but she is here to help us internalize the journey before we miss the important part.

In her own words, she has likened the way she delivers information to a shot as opposed to a pill. “A pill is painless and takes time as it works. Although a shot involves minor, temporary pain it works much faster towards making you feel better faster."

you and your colleagues or staff to promote a healthy school climate and achieve results beyond what you currently believe are possible. Come and learn how to challenge yourself and others to be their best while eliminating excuses and circumstances

that get in our way.
