Workshop Description:

Feel like there’s too much to do and not enough time? Like you put out fires all day and aren’t getting to the important, long-term needs? Time is the great equalizer and your most precious resource. Educators and administrators that properly manage time are able to respond to the diverse educational needs of students, manage urgent situations immediately, and avoid falling behind when unexpected events occur. Further, they are then able to teach these skills to students so that a rigorous academic and co-curricular schedule can be maintained.

Sound good? This workshop helps you optimize and improve student achievement and school results by getting more of the right things done. When you are dialed in and have time for what matters most, you can make the biggest impact with your 24 hours in the day and leave the legacy you desire.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The first and most important step to optimization.
  • Tools and strategies for managing your time and what to do with it.
  • How to help the students you serve maximize their time.
  • What to eliminate to create space for what matters most.
  • How to overcome procrastination and increase productivity for yourself and for all the students you serve so that their achievement is optimized.
  • Mindfulness techniques to stay present and focused on the immediate moment.

Whether you are struggling to juggle your teaching load, extracurriculars, work/life harmony or just want to make the best use of your time, these Smarter Balance Tools will empower you to own your time and get more done. Above all, what works for you, will be invaluable “bonus” lessons to share with your students so they can employ these strategies to optimize their results as well.
