Workshop Summary:
You've poured your heart out to serve your students and schools, but it has come at a cost.
Because on top of trying to serve the endless learning needs of your students and meet a long list of expectations, you’re also trying to navigate:
- Negativity from your colleagues (yep, I said it)
- Frustration about decisions beyond your control
- Uncertainty about whether or not you’ll get the support you desperately need
- Bitterness over the challenging work conditions
And at the end of those long days, laying in your bed at night trying to fall asleep – feeling exhausted, depleted, and stressed, you start to wonder…
- Am I doing enough?
- Does what I’m doing even matter?
- Am I really qualified for this job?
Strobel Education’s Reclaiming Your Joy training and curriculum helps you reclaim your happiness and overcome the stress and anxiety cycle.
Educator burnout is a significant challenge. Between preparing today’s children for tomorrow, the challenges of delivering education during a pandemic, all while juggling virtual, remote, and in-person demands of education are many and, at times, heavy.
In this workshop, you’ll leave feeling empowered to take back your life so you are no longer dreading the beginning of school and you have easy tools to manage your wellbeing and happiness during the school year so that you can be at your best for the kids you serve.
All Pre K-12 participants work to actively participate on the instructional team of their school, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance instruction for every student. By the conclusion of the workshop, educators will be able to demonstrate fair, equitable, and appropriate treatment for all students and their families while navigating the complexities of delivering education after a pandemic and managing the varied demands of virtual, remote, and in-person education which we have all learned, can be numerous. Since our goal is to always support the advancement of our students while balancing personal and professional obligations, attendees will gain strategies to be successful in both.
