WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this workshop is to review, refresh and reinforce your knowledge and understanding of how we can teach the basic arithmetic facts. The strategies will emphasize the order in which they are taught and students’ ability to see and recognize patterns that will help them learn, retain and use those strategies to compute with automaticity.

This 3-hour math zoom workshop will address basic fact strategies for addition, subtraction, and multiplication. For division, the Cover-up Method will be emphasized. Prior to the beginning of class, participants are asked to download the strategies booklet from my website; hanlonmath.com. Please link to http://www.hanlonmath.com/pdfFiles/resource_2022.pdf, to download the booklet. That will allow you to follow the live online zoom class with greater ease.
